Carrot bags are plastic bags similar to those used to hold orange jellybeans for Easter basket treats, and bakers use them to put frosting on cakes!  I get the kind that's 2 mm plastic with only one seam. They're also used for piping frosting onto fancy cakes.  They’re very comfortable to hold and use, inexpensive and versatile.  They’re easy to refill, and they go a long time in between refills.
