Beautiful Hair		 Not everyone loves the earthy smell that lingers in hennaed hair.  Some people feel this is a luscious, sexy scent, and others feel its more like a wet dog.  If you do not want your hair to smell like henna,  add either ginger or cardamom to your mix.

Ginger makes the henna scent virtually disappear.  Add a spoonful of ginger root powder to every 100g of henna powder when you mix your henna.  A 25g packet has four spoonsful.  Test a little ginger paste on your skin to see if you're comfortable with it before you apply it to your whole head.  If ginger feels hot on your skin, reduce the amount of ginger in your mix.  

Cardamom makes your hair smell spicy.  Add a spoonful ofof cardamom seed powder to every 100g of henna powder when you mix your henna.  A 25g packet has four spoonsful.  Test a little cardamom paste on your skin to see if you're comfortable with it before you apply it to your whole head.
