Comparisons of Ancient Sunrise® Hennas This is a comparison study of the three Ancient Sunrise® hennas, Rarity, Rajasthani Monsoon, and Rajasthani Twilight, showing high resolution scans of the three hennas. These are tested on white, unpigmented hair to most easily visualize the color comparison, then on 25% gray medium brunette hair.Each Ancient Sunrise® henna was mixed with lemon juice, left to dye release overnight, then applied to the hair for eight hours, and then rinsed. The high resolution scans were done 24 hours after rinsing henna paste out of hair. The henna tones oxidized, darkened and mellowed over the following weeks.
