If you have a chemical hair dye allergy or have been advised by your physician to not use chemical hair dye, you should be able to use Ancient Sunrise® henna, indigo, and other Ancient Sunrise® products safely.


Our Ancient Sunrise® Henna for Hair Red Kit dyes light and graying hair vivid henna red for a true “natural red-head” look. The results will be rich red on medium brown hair; darker hair will remain dark but will have a red shimmer in the sunlight. This natural hair dye will enhance natural red hair.

Ancient Sunrise® Hair Kits work on chemically treated hair! You may need to do additional applications for your desired result, depending on how much damage was caused by previous products. Natural henna hair dye binds to the keratin in the hair shaft.

If you would like to test the Ancient Sunrise® Henna for Hair Red Kit on your hair, we recommend you buy the sample version of the kit, which contains enough to try on hair harvested from your hairbrush or on a small section of hair on your head.

    Amazing
    Hair comes out perfectly every time. The copperberry helps prevent it from darkening--I didn't really think it would change anything, but my hair is still bright, vivid red/orange (my hair did not darken at all--lemon juice darkened it). I only trust Mehandi for my henna, because of their independent lab testing. If you have light hair (or bleached) and want a vivid red, this is the kit for you.
