Shipping

We do our best to ship every order out of our warehouse within three business days.

USA orders:


Due to the pandemic orders may be delayed beyond our control. Please plan your order ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
  • We ship via Priority Mail through the US Postal Service.
    • With limited staff at our warehouse, we cannot accept pickups from other couriers at this time.
  • Contact our customer service team to get the best shipping price for your order before placing it online.
    • We do not offer refunds on extra shipping that may be paid online.
  • Your package will usually arrive within 6 business days from the shipping date.
  • Tracking information is sent to the email address on the order. If you don't get your tracking number, let us know and we will get it for you.
  • We accept money orders drawn on US bank accounts.
  • We cannot accept checks or money orders drawn on foreign accounts and in foreign currency.
    We hold all personal checks for at least five days before we ship the order, to ensure that the check is not returned for insufficient funds. We charge $30 for any check that is returned, and $12 reimbursement for NSF bank fees, and we will not deliver product until these fees are paid.

Express shipping:

Express shipping is not recommended during the pandemic.

  • We ship Express Mail (USA only) Tuesday through Friday. If you need your order in less than five business days, contact us to place your order. The final cost depends on weight and zone.
  • Order express shipping by phone: Call us at 330-673-0600, and leave a message if you get voicemail.
  • Order express shipping by email: email [email protected]: Include EXPRESS ORDER in the title. Email us your phone number. Or, if you’ve already ordered online, let us know you’d like to upgrade to Express shipping and include your phone number. We’ll call you to arrange payment for the additional shipping charge. Changes must be applied before the order has a label. We cannot make changes to orders that have been packed. We cannot make changes to online orders.
  • If we take your phone order by the time customer service closes, Monday through Thursday, your order will leave within 1 to 3 business days (this is a first-come-first-served offer).
  • Please note: although most zip codes have guaranteed overnight delivery, some do not. Our representatives will tell you when your order will ship and when it’s guaranteed to arrive. Express shipments generally arrive within one to two business days from the date of shipment, but may take longer.
  • We do not ship Express outside the US.

International orders:

Due to the pandemic, orders may be severely delayed beyond our control. International customers, please check with your local post office to find out if there are delays with importing from USPS.

  • We ship via Global Priority Mail and First Class International when applicable.
  • Contact our customer service team to get the best shipping price for your order before placing it online.
    • We do not offer refunds on extra shipping that may be paid online.
  • Your package will usually arrive in your country in two to three weeks from the shipping date using USPS Priority.
  • There is not an expected delivery date for First Class International. This can take a few weeks or a few months to arrive.
  • You must check your country’s customs policies to determine if you will be charged duty, taxes, or VAT. There may be a limit on the value of what can be ordered duty-free, and you are responsible for these fees! We do not offer refunds on orders where customs, duties, taxes, or VAT fees are refused.
  • Packages that are refused will not be refunded. Instead a store credit for any items that have not been damaged will be credited on the customer's account once the items have reached our warehouse. Contact customer service for more information: [email protected]. Shipping will not be refunded or credited for refused packages.

Policies

We will do everything we can to make sure your package is correctly addressed and promptly shipped.

  • We will immediately reship any order if we make an error in the address or shipping that causes the package to become lost.
  • If you want an address change, please contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that your address will be changed unless confirmed by our customer service department.
  • We will pack your order as carefully as we can, but we cannot control any damages that may occur during shipping.
  • We cannot be responsible for packages that go astray or disappear from the postal service if we correctly address and ship them. If tracking verifies that we have shipped the package, and the address was correct, but it has not arrived, please contact your post office.
  • We are not responsible for paying taxes and duties on any international orders. That the buyer's responsibility.
  • We will not falsify customs documents on international orders, including marking international orders as "gift." This is illegal.

ERROR, DAMAGE, AND CANCELLATION

Cancellations:

  • Email us at [email protected] before 5 pm EST Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday if it is necessary to cancel your order. Order cancellations are not guaranteed, but we will try to cancel your order immediately if it hasn't been packed. We will refund the cost of the merchandise (less payment processing fees) and shipping if we are able to successfully cancel your order. If we received the cancellation after our customer service office has closed, we will not be able to process the cancellation.
  • If we have already shipped your order, the perishable items cannot be returned or refunded (see below).
  • Non-perishable items may be returned within 10 days if the package has not been opened.

Errors and damaged merchandise:

  • Any complaints for the following must be made within 30 days of the purchase date.
    • If we make a mistake in your order, we will reship the correct items at our expense.
    • We will include a return shipping label so you can send back the incorrect items if applicable. This must be returned back to us within 2 weeks of receiving the label.
    • We will replace any items that arrive in a damaged condition if they are returned in their original, sealed package.

At Mehandi.com, we work hard to take care of our customers. We offer only the highest quality products. Many of our products are hand-made, and all are things we love and use ourselves. Your satisfaction matters – please contact us within thirty days of purchase if there is a problem with your order.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges:

  • The following perishable items are nonreturnable and nonrefundable:
    • Any products 25 grams and under (including fruit acids, spices, Rainwash, etc), essential oils, attars, Ancient Red henna paste, Ancient Blue Crystal Indigo, gilding paste, soaps, shampoos, conditioner, lotion bars, body oils, and butters.
  • The following items are non-returnable for hygienic reasons*:
    • Hair sticks, combs, barrettes, earrings (*We will replace any of these items that arrive in a damaged condition, if they are returned in their original, sealed package within 30 days of the order date.)
  • All other items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for store credit or exchange as long as they are not open and any seals are not broken.
  • No store credit is given on products which have been opened, or kits, boxes, or bags in which the seal has been broken.
  • No store credit will be issued without proof of purchase.
  • Refunds and store credit are not available 30 days after the date of the transaction.
  • We reserve the right to provide store credit instead of a refund.
  • Please email us at [email protected] within thirty (30) days of purchase for a Return Authorization number prior to returning the item. Return Authorizations are valid for two weeks from the date of issuance. Returned items must be received within that time.
  • Products must be returned to TapDancing Lizard LLC "Returns" 339 Tallmadge Rd. Kent OH 44240.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping fees related to returned and exchanged items.
  • Returned items will have a 10% restocking fee.
  • If a refund is approved for any reason, refunds take 14 business days. If you're expecting a refund and have not received it, please check with your financial institution, then reach out to us.
  • Payment processing fees are not refunded for any reason.
