Add 25gr. of Ancient Sunrise® Copperberry per 100g of Ancient Sunrise® henna or Ancient Sunrise® cassia; stir in filtered or distilled water until the paste is the desired consistency. Ancient Sunrise® Copperberry is dried, powdered malpighia glabra berries; these have antioxidants and vitamin C which preserve the golden and red colors in your henna or cassia mix so your color will be brighter and less likely to darken over time. Ancient Sunrise® Copperberry powder is certified organic.

Henna and cassia will dye your hair most effectively when mixed with a mildly acidic liquid. The acidic liquid keeps the hydrogen atoms intact on the corners of the quinone molecules so the color (lawsone or crysophanic acid) can bind to the keratin in your hair.
