Ancient Sunrise: "Henna for Hair 101: “Orange Panic”
If you are new to using henna for hair or have just tried a new mix you may be startled by the color of your hair upon rinsing out the henna paste. You may have been going for a deep red, or even a brunette tone, but now you think you
look more like Bozo the Clown or Carrot Top. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as “Orange Panic” within the henna for hair community. Luckily, it is completely normal to see a brighter color at first, and this brightness will go away with time.
